Individuation begins when ego alone no longer works. Guided by the Self, we meet our shadow, inner opposite, and wise inner guide. The journey leads to wholeness—where conscious and unconscious unite. As Jung said, “The Self is the total, timeless man.” The elephant, too, stands for this grounded, living strength.
